Services Provided

Training

There are two levels of training available:

  • Basic and Advanced Life Support Training is available to hospital personnel and healthcare providers.
  • Family and Friends Course teaches basic steps of resuscitation to members of the general public, patients, their families and friends.

All courses follow the internationally accepted guidelines approved by The American Heart Association and Irish Heart Foundation.

Basic Life Support:

This is a simple, easily learned emergency procedure used when someone’s breathing and heartbeat stops suddenly. If Basic Life Support is started promptly after a cardiac arrest it can sustain life until an automated external defibrillator and advanced medical help arrives and thus enhance the patients’ chance of survival.
